IN MEMORY OF

Anthony Teixeira, was a Trumbull High graduate of 2012, and Captain of the Boys’ Varsity Soccer team, 2011 FCIAC Champions. He was an individual who held passion for the game of soccer from a young age. From the early years playing under AYSO, to the development into the premier level with Beachside Soccer Club, Anthony was fortunate enough to spend his youth traveling all over the country playing the beautiful game. Through this experience, he was molded into a leader, motivator, and some say a legend.

Anthony was a player who tirelessly was there to motivate his teammates and push them to individually succeed, all while finding time to crack jokes in between. He was the backbone of the team and carried a strong presence on and off the field. His career was marked with numerous awards and accolades, leaving his trophy shelf plenty stocked, and so were the hearts of those whom he spent his time alongside on the field with. Soccer allowed Anthony to create lifelong friendships and bonds, and what essentially shaped him to be the unforgettable being he was.
